How To use anything as a weapon and how to take initiative in conflict

Being able to use any small solid object as a weapon is important. However, the most important weapon you will ever master is your body—and your mind. In skilled hands, any weapon becomes the best weapon. That’s why we focus on the details when learning new things.

Our body must be strong, and our mind must be calm. At the same time, we learn the most efficient martial arts, step by step, detail by detail. In the end, when we finish, the world around us will look different, and we will look different in the world’s eyes.

They say the best defense is a good offense, and I agree. But I’d also add that the best defense begins by moving out of the line of attack.

Our goal is to finish every fight within 4 seconds, using 4 key steps to guide us toward that outcome.

In Combat Jiu-Jitsu, our primary weapon is a small knife.

I call my fighting style “Realistic Fight.” It stands apart from Sport Martial Arts. Martial arts can be broadly classified into two types: sport and realistic combat.

Sport Martial Arts: These disciplines operate in controlled environments with established rules. Participants usually know their opponents in advance, and weapons are generally prohibited.

Realistic Fight: In contrast, realistic combat is unpredictable and unrestrained. You may not know who your opponent is, how many there are, or whether they’re armed. Such encounters often happen without warning.

Do you see the difference? This distinction calls for a completely different training approach. While some may call it self-defense, I prefer the term “Realistic Fight/Self-Defense.” But I don’t define myself strictly as a self-defense instructor. 

Why not? Because my techniques are primarily offensive. In any confrontation, I aim to adopt the mindset of a predator, no matter who started it.

Effective self-defense means facing threats with predator-like intensity.

We filmed the lessons using professional cameras and microphones, and added an action camera for a first-person perspective. This way, you can feel even closer to the real experience of working with me in one-on-one sessions.
